About Pendress
Pendress began as a simple idea in early 2023 — a spark that grew into a fully realized studio by the start of 2025. The learning curve was steep and the process slow, but every step was deeply rewarding because I refused to compromise on quality. I taught myself how to sew, just as I taught myself how to draft patterns, design, build a website, and navigate the countless skills required to bring this vision to life. Creating Pendress from the ground up has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
At the heart of Pendress is a commitment to slow fashion and handmade craftsmanship. Every pattern, every piece of content, and every detail is created with intention. I don’t believe in cutting corners or rushing for the sake of output — this is a purposeful return to process, where quality, care, and thoughtful design matter more than speed.
From the beginning, my goal has been to share knowledge. I want to pass on what I’ve learned, encourage others to explore their creativity, and help build a community of makers who are just as passionate about sewing as I am. Pendress isn’t just a business; it’s a space for growth, exploration, passion, creation, and fun — a place where the craft is celebrated and the journey is just as meaningful as the final stitch.

Where Sewing Meets History
The process of sewing, and the exploration of fashion, is a roadmap of storytelling that connects us to our past. It’s a time capsule of culture—a way to understand the world and a chance to step outside the mold. Sewing today is much the same as it has always been. Techniques and tools may evolve, but the process, the intention, and the outcome remain the same. Across past, present, and future, sewing is the thread that carries us through time.
