This fur shawl was an extremely simple make but the effect is stunning nonetheless. Both sides were lined with faux fur for warmth, comfort, and visual luxury. The closure for this garment is a simple vintage brooch from my thrifted collection.Â

Inspiration drawn from the pages of beloved literature and the nostalgic charm of antique bookbinding, I designed the Book Purse pattern as a celebration of the tactile beauty of books and the joy of upcycling, combining the functionality of a modern purse with the whimsical elegance of a treasured literary classic.
The first variation of this book purse is complete, and the beginning stages of making the pattern are in progress.
This pattern will come with pattern pieces and instructions, just as a regular sewing pattern would. The only difference is the materials list for this project. The pattern will also have a few variations to give a variety of options to customize the look and feel.
