Silk Wrap Skirt & Slip Dress Ensemble

Versatile garments are some of my favorites, and this silk wrap skirt with its coordinating slip dress has become a staple for that reason. The combination allows for effortless styling across many occasions, whether worn as a set or mixed with other pieces. Both are made from lightweight polyester silk satin, giving them a fluid drape and a refined, adaptable feel.

Versatility, Stitched by Hand

The purpose of a capsule wardrobe is to curate a small selection of garments that can be styled in many different ways, creating versatility without unnecessary volume. Avoiding fashion over‑consumption is important to me, and sewing my own clothing helps me stay conscientious of how practical

and wearable each piece will be. Of course, not every project becomes a staple—some ideas work beautifully in theory but not in practice. Even so, sewing gives me meaningful control over the evolution of my wardrobe, allowing me to correct course whenever needed.
