A Fairytale Shrug

This sheer long‑sleeved shrug was originally designed as a practical layering piece for the Barbie Fairy costume I made from my blue corset. It adds a touch of warmth for slightly chillier weather while blending beautifully with the look of the wings and the flow of the skirt, creating a cohesive, airy silhouette.

Comfortable Beauty

One of the most beneficial parts of sewing your own clothes is the ability to make them genuinely comfortable. Adjusting sizes, choosing better materials, and creating additional garment options for different temperatures

or levels of modesty means any outfit can be adapted for any occasion. Sewing gives you the freedom to shape your wardrobe around your body and your needs, rather than forcing your body to fit whatever is available.
